…be a HATster
Getting involved with the HAT community is easy! The HAT Community Foundation have several projects involving personal data that is of interest to everyone. Our projects range from increasing awareness of personal data use and rights, to hackathons for developers and startups.
If you want to get more actively involved, more so than just being an active Hatter, be a HATster, our community of Hatter volunteers and members!
our social ambassadors…
HATsters are doing all they can to change the way the Internet works for individuals – HATsters are our social ambassadors, they volunteer at our events, interact on Facebook or Twitter, share HAT posts and pages on social media, or forward it to their contacts via email. HATsters also become involved in our projects.
In helping to spread the word, and sharing the enthusiasm, HATsters change the very way the Internet works! Reach out to your friends and networks, and by working together, we will make a difference!
HATsters are members of the foundation…
Whether or not you are a researcher or a developer, HATsters can also become an Associate Member or Full Member of the Foundation. Associate members are advanced HAT Users and they get early access to HAT product releases and are officially logged as a member of the HAT Foundation. Associate members also receive invites to exclusive events, obtain the early releases of new software and functionalities, and be invited to our Annual Meeting.
Many HATsters are coders, so if you are one, do join our open source Development Community – this is free for the first year to encourage anyone, anywhere to build exciting new stuff on HAT. You will find many likeminded people already waiting for you here.
